Sankofa Kore was inspired by the poem 'Kore' by Robert Creeley.

Sankofa Kore, 2011, cast in GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete). 57"h x 12"w x 20"d This image was taken when the sculpture was exhibited at Chesterwood, Stockbridge, MA. There is an edition of 6 in GFRC.

The bronze cast is 1/6, was completed in March 2014 by Benjamin Keating Foundry and is in the collection of the Woodmere Museum of Art.
